This type of attack tends to obtain, from those who treat personal data, the payment of a ransom, under the threat of not returning the stolen data and making it public (for example on the web).
Despite the security measures that Studio Pessi has activated, the data contained in our server have been partially stolen and completely encrypted (therefore made unreadable by our studio and readable only by the bad guys who carried out the attack). .
We are involved in personal information that could directly concern the parties to the proceedings, the defenders, the court and party consultants, for having interfaced with our Firm or as present in judicial and extrajudicial documents and attached documents.
By way of example, the information contained in the headings, study files and procedural files could concern: identity cards, procedural documents, CTU, contact details, data relating to contributions, data relating to remuneration, data relating to performance /job evaluations, union preferences.
We are obliged to highlight the potential risks, which could consist, for example, of identity theft, possible scam or fraud attempts, reputational damage, loss of confidentiality of personal data subject to professional secrecy, discrimination, financial losses; if in practice there were data relating to the state of health, or trade union preferences or religious beliefs or sexual orientation or data relating to criminal proceedings or convictions, the interested party could suffer problems deriving from the exposure of such information online or, in any case, from the fact that they are knowable by third parties.
We therefore suggest paying particular attention to any contact by unknown third parties or to the possible presence of personal information on the web, in both cases notifying the competent authorities of any illegal attempt without delay.
However, we are systematically monitoring the network to promptly identify any exposure of stolen information.
